Symone

CLINCAL LEAD
Dietitian
 / Exercise Physiologist 

Symone is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Accredited Exercise Physiologist who graduated from the University of Sydney.

 

With more than 10 years of clinical experience, Symone has worked with a range of ages and health conditions, and has a special interest in the needs and development from pre-conception, through pregnancy and into early childhood. Her passion is to provide family-centered support to make realistic and sustainable changes.

 

Symone is a qualified SOS feeding consultant (‘Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding’) which is a feeding therapy for fussy eaters & problem feeders. Working with Symone you can expect to increase the range of food which your child’s accepts from touch, taste, try and in turn lead to increased variety and volume of foods. Focusing on skills and feeding development, you can establish mealtime routines, understand cues to eating and therefore experience more positive family mealtimes.

Ellyse
Dietitian

Ellyse is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who works collaboratively with children and families to optimise growth, development, nutritional status and overall wellbeing.  

 

Having graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Nutrition Science and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, Ellyse has experience providing family-focused and evidence-based care in various dietetic and voluntary roles with children aged from birth to sixteen years. Ellyse takes a holistic and collaborative approach and tailors all sessions to meet the needs of every child and their family.  

 

Most recently, Ellyse has worked within the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Muscular Dystrophy and children born premature.  

 

Ellyse has experience working with children with allergies and intolerances, fussy and problem feeding difficulties and children requiring weight management services. She conducts comprehensive nutritional assessments and provides detailed recommendations for nutrition support.    

 

Ellyse is a passionate and approachable dietitian who enjoys empowering children and families to work towards individualised goals to reach their full potential.

Ellyse has completed additional training in:

  • SOS Approach to feeding course 

  • Low FODMAP Diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome course
